(1) There will be an executive committee to carry out all the work to be carried out by the order of the board formed according to section 3.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) will have the following members:-
(a) Heads of Municipalities within the geographical area of ​​the Board – Member
(b) Representative, Ministry of Physical Planning and Construction – Member
(c) Chairman of the village within the geographical area of ​​the board selected from among themselves One chairman of the village - member
(d) Chairman of the Local Industry and Commerce Association - Member
(e) Chairman of Local Consumers Association – Member
(f) One person nominated by the committee from among the local non-governmental organizations working in the water supply or sanitation service sector - member
(g) One member nominated by the committee from among experts in the field of drinking water and sanitation services (3) If there is more than one organization in the relevant area when represented by a member as per clause (c), (d) or (e) of sub-section (2), such organization shall represent them alternately. But if there is no agreement between such organizations to represent them alternately, the committee will nominate representatives from among such organizations.
(4) According to clause (f) of sub-section (2), preference should be given to women as long as they are available.
(5) The term of office of the nominated member according to sub-section (2) shall be four years.
(6) The person chosen by the members of the committee from among themselves shall be the chairman of the committee (7) The members of the committee shall take an oath in the format mentioned in the schedule before assuming their duties.
(8) The Executive Director shall act as the Secretary of the Committee.
